The main reason for our trip to Rockport. The birding tour was amazing. The boat caption was extremely knowledgeable and was able to get us right up to the birds. We spent quite a while about 60 feet from a pair of whooping cranes. Highly recommend.

A rookery quite literally across the street from an HEB. We didn't even know about it until we were trying to find something to do after buying some ice cream from HEB. You are so close (well you still need a long lens) to the birds and there were so many in the spring making nests.

A really nice nature reserve. Decent hiking trails and it would be really good for bird watching. Unfortunately for us it was at the end of our trip after getting right up close to all the birds at the other locations so it wasn't as cool for photos, but still nice to stop by

Passed by their advertisement as we were getting to Rockport and had to try it. There is no similar feeling to flying in a real WWII biplane, for lack of getter words it felt raw and powerful, even though the plane with quite slow. An amazing experience.
